Production Assembler

Position Summary

General Accountabilities in this Role

• Gather, inspect, and assemble materials used for mattresses, cushions, slings, wheelchairs, clinical care recliners and other items the company manufactures.
• Use machinery, hand and power tools to glue, assemble and pack.
• Check completed work for accuracy.

• Perform other production, general assembly and warehouse requirements as requested.
• 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Some overtime available.

Summary Job Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Desire and ability to learn to perform general assembly production.
• Must be able to reach, bend, and lift.
• Must have good eye-hand coordination.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
