Production Assembler

Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Overtime as needed)

Power Temp Systems (PTS) is hiring an experienced Manufacturing Assembler to join our team in Broussard, Louisiana!

We are looking for a dependable, hands-on professional with strong mechanical aptitude, experience reading blueprints, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced assembler who enjoys working with industrial equipment, solving problems, and helping other team members succeed.

What You'll Do

• 
  

  Perform complex assembly tasks using blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.

  
  


• 
  

  Assemble and inspect components to ensure accuracy and quality.

  
  


• 
  

  Read and interpret detailed blueprints and technical specifications.

  
  


• 
  

  Use inspection tools to verify that completed work meets quality standards.

  
  


• 
  

  Identify and troubleshoot assembly or production issues.

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with training and mentoring other production team members.

  
  


• 
  

  Recommend improvements to assembly procedures, inspection methods, and workflow.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

  
  

What We're Looking For

• 
  

  At least 3 years of hands-on assembly experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with inspection tools and quality control procedures.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work independently and complete detailed assembly tasks.

  
  


• 
  

  Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to assist with training or guiding less experienced team members.

  
  


• 
  

  Clear driving record.

  
  

Additional experience that is helpful:

• 
  

  Industrial equipment or mechanical assembly.

  
  


• 
  

  Previous lead assembler or team training experience.

  
  


• 
  

  Manufacturing process improvement and quality inspections.

  
  

Physical & Schedule Requirements

• 
  

  Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull 50 pounds or more as required.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.

  
  


• 
  

  Must wear required safety equipment, including steel-toe boots and safety glasses.

  
  


• 
  

  Must be available to work onsite in Broussard, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.
