Job Description - Production Assembly / Test Technicians - Evertz USA
Evertz USA, Inc. is seeking a few Production Assembly/Test Technicians whose primary duties will include providing support in Assembly and Test departments including pre-commissioning of server customer related products in accordance with company standards.
This position is full time – 5/8 schedule - In Person Only Located at our Quintech Electronics and Evertz USA headquarters location in Indiana, PA!
Additional Duties:
Technicians will be required to customize server hardware by assembling hardware, loading and configuring software, testing, and validating Microsoft Windows based servers.
Server based assembly, configuration, software installation, testing validation.
Setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting server related products using automated test equipment as part of the pre-commissioning.
Perform product testing using test programs/ scripts based on test automation server racks to validate full module functionality.
Perform other related duties as requested, directed or assigned. May work in other areas within the manufacturing department as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
Associate’s degree in computer networking or related computer-based field and/ or a minimum of four years of work-related experience.
Prior computer networking, personal computer hardware and troubleshooting experience or education required.
Ability to read technical documents, wiring diagrams, schematics with strong mechanical aptitude.
Must be a United States Citizen
Must be able to work productively with minimal supervision. Must occasionally work extended hours, including weekends.
Work requires great attention to detail with a focus on networking configurations of hardware, feature sets and licenses, quality and time management.
