The Role

The Production Associate – Level 2 is a full-time position responsible to serve within the production team. The production team is essentially a job shop with wide range of activities including equipment assembly, equipment repair, equipment testing, minor fabrication, etc. Timely, successful and profitable completion of all assigned jobs is critical. 

• Execute jobs assigned ensuring quality timely completion – this needs to be done with limited time, conflicting priorities, unpredicted emergency jobs which often arise, limited budgets and limited resources.


• Ability to solve problems and come up with system improvements to prevent similar problems occurring in the future


• Sign off on quality of each assembly job


• Show team how to continually improve, always timing themselves on tasks, relentlessly pursuing


• Superb desk management – we are a tidy and well-organized workplace


• Brilliant execution skills, never being found guilty of procrastination


• Have a sales mindset – have the mindset “is what I am doing right now fulfilling an existing requirement for sales, or will my activities right now lead to future sales for the company”


• Ensure the products/services produced by the Production team are delivered on time and in exceptional condition


• Minimal travel is required, if any.


• Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

• Warehouse

Work SCHEDULE

• 1st Shift, between hours of 7am-5pm, OT as necessary

Required Skills/Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in a production environment, preferably in assembly and or fabrication of industrial metal components. 


• Welding experience a plus – MIG, Stick


• Excellent written & verbal communication skills as well as strong analytical and problem solving skills.


• Experience reading blueprints.


• Forklift experience preferred.


• High School Diploma


• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds


• Ability/Knowledge to work with power tools
