Production Associate - Lincoln, NE

SUMMARY STATEMENT

AgSource is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position for a Production Associate in our Lincoln Lab location. In this role you will process soil, plant tissue, irrigation water and green house media samples for sample entry and laboratory analysis. Provide daily maintenance of sample preparation equipment and janitorial duties within the sample preparation area. To maintain good attendance is a condition of employment and an essential function of your job. 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide sample lineup, stamping and preparation of soil for drying process. Insert QC samples into daily laboratory run according to current SOP. Recognize and identify samples needing special tests and/or problems.


• Maintain and update sample held in short and long-term storage. Process samples requiring decontamination in accordance with current SOP.


• Maintain a clean and effective sample entry work area. Perform maintenance on grinders, dust collection systems and drying ovens.


• Promote and adhere to safety in the workplace.


• Perform other duties and assume other responsibilities as assigned. 

Position Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a similar environment


• Diploma/GED required


• Agricultural and Software industry experience is a plus


• Long and short-term planning and execution skills are a plus


• Strong interpersonal skills


• Experience with CRM Software


• Proficiency with Microsoft suite, including but not limited to Excel and Word
