Production Associate I - Day Shift

Quanex is looking for a Production Associate to join our team located in St. Cloud, Minnesota.  

In this role, you will work in a team environment in a variety of areas assembling various components based on customer specifications.  This can include running equipment that machine parts for cabinet doors at an entry level. 

Schedule: Monday - Friday (6:00am-2:30pm) + potential overtime

Salary: $17+ per hour, pay based on experience

What Success Looks Like:  

• Monitors product to ensure quality standards are being met. 


• Maintains the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S standards. 


• Follows safety procedures and guidelines; and notifies others of existing or potential safety issues. 


• Assists in other work areas when workload permits or requires. 


• Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers. 


• Thoroughly complete all documentation, such as production reports.   


• Assemble various components based on customer specifications and quality standards.

What You Bring:  

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience. 


• At least 6 months of production, assembly or related work experience preferred. 


• Manual/finger dexterity skills. 


• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
