Job Description - Production Associate - Light Manufacturing

TROY FILTERS
JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE:	Production Associate
FLSA STATUS:	Hourly, Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO:	Materials & Production Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Troy Production Associate will help maintain the shop area by keeping it clean and organized. This position will also assist with all aspects production including assembly, labeling and packaging. This role will require using a table saw, glue gun and large paper cutters, as well as, the ability to lift up to 50lbs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum High School diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in a production setting.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS:
Substance free and clean background check required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Picking items from shelves
Safely perform light assembly using provided tools and equipment
Packing completed product orders as needed

Maintain cleanliness of work area
Additional duties as assigned

None.

None.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the functions of this job, the employee is continuously required to use fine finger movements, read/comprehend, write, and reason and analyze. The associate is frequently required to bend, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, handle objects, push/pull, reach above shoulder level, stand, carry and lift loads over 50 pounds, perform calculations, and communicate orally. The associate is in frequent contact with chemicals/biological agents and water / other liquids. The noise level in the work environment is consistent with construction activities, and may be extreme at times.
