Production Associate Northern Star

Job Summary

This is a full-time non-exempt position. 

Monday – Friday 8am-5pm

Essential Functions

Primary function is the production and manufacture of Northern Star products. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Die cutting various materials
• Application of spray adhesives, paint and coatings
• Use of various machinery (press, die cutter, etc.)
• Understanding forecasting and replenishment
• Packaging and assembly

· Utilize the computer system to identify and prioritize kits that need to be assembled.

· Produce and retrieve the necessary components and accurately assemble the kits according to specifications.

· Label each newly assembled kit and update the system to ensure accurate tracking of quantities produced.

· Collaborate effectively with management to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.

Key skills and competencies of the position include, but are not limited to:

· Ability to learn various assembly and manufacturing processes, using the tooling and machinery necessary.

· Attention to detail and ability to maintain acceptable standards of production.

· Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.

· Good organizational and time management skills.

· Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 

· Ability to walk up and down stairs.
