Production Control I

Summary

Production Control I is responsible for coordinating, analyzing, informing, and recording the flow of material through manufacturing departments and communicating the overall health of the program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Reviews and understands the Bill of Materials (BOM).


• Collaborates with the Planning department to ensure the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system generates the proper schedule for Production Control.


• Manages overall project part shortages.


• Works with Purchasing and Manufacturing to address exceptions.


• Coordinates with Engineering for drawing releases and design improvements.


• Works with the Spares Department to gather pricing and lead times.


• Reviews Material Review Board (MRB) and coordinates with the necessary departments to resolve issues.


• Works with production personnel to address and resolve production-related problems.


• Contributes to the improvement of lean product flow.


• Communicates project details to shipping, warehouse, and quality teams.


• Regular and prompt attendance.


• Other duties as assigned.

Summary of Education, Experience & Certification

Minimum of two year’s relevant experience in an aerospace production environment.  Vocational and technical schooling preferred.

Employees working on programs subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations must qualify as a US Person which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee for legal compliance purposes.

• Ability to communicate in English (read, write, and verbally communicate).


• Proven ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.


• Ability to prioritize, multi-task effectively, and work under pressure.


• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.


• Works under minimal supervision


• Ability to communicate constructive feedback.


• Mathematical knowledge and ability to apply towards problem solving.

The expected WA salary range for this position is between $51,000.00.00 - $70,000.00 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, location, and other factors permitted by law.
