Material Planner/ Production Coordinator/ Planner/Scheduler Location:
Remote Opportunity in North Carolina Must be able to travel to Greensboro and Charlotte only for vendor site visits (1 – 2 times a month) Domestic Travel:
Occasional travel sites located in WI/TX/FL Duration: 08 Months Contract (Possibility of Extensions) This job will require at least 50-75% domestic travel.
The main function of the Supply Chain Production Coordinator will be to support the Supply Chain Team in collecting and verifying information collected from key Suppliers. Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules; conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates; and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems. The Supply Chain Production Clerk will also be responsible for validating the above information and compiling progress reports for the Supply Chain Team.
The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for the following: • Collecting data on supply chain operations • Reviewing supplier data to verify the accuracy of information • Summarizing supplier metrics and flag any risks to the Global Supply Managers
Must-Have Skills Excel, ability to analyze data into visuals to influence decision-making for stakeholders (PowerPoint fine, tableau not required) Risk analysis, ability to find potential risks and flag them to the team for appropriate action (ie. Vendor not following proper protocols) Proactive, able to speak on delays and draw meaningful resolutions
Nice-to-have Skills Heating/cooling mechanical experience for data centers Construction background
Skills: • Strong interpersonal skills: Verbal and written communication skills, • Strong attention to detail • Ability to analyze information and formulate visual data to summarize such data. • Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information. • Knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing processes. • Ability to work with a team towards a common goal. • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Suite - specifically Excel.
Education/Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management/Operations or a related business field required. • Effective and strong communicator, strong written communication, data analysis creation of graphs (Excel) into visual based on decisions. • 1-2 years of Supply Chain Experience required • 1-2 years of Manufacturing/ Production Experience required • Experience in Heating/Cooling Mechanical Equipment for Data Centers (Optional) • 1 year of experience in construction (Optional)
