Production Custodian

Vinmar Recycling Solutions is committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized manufacturing environment. We are currently looking for a dedicated and responsible Production Custodian to join our team in Belmont, NC. The Production Custodian will play a vital role in ensuring that our facility remains in optimal condition for our operations, promoting a healthy and productive workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Clean extrusion areas, loading docks, and production workspaces.

·         Sweep, vacuum, and blow floors using industrial cleaning equipment.

·         Maintain aisle ways, finished goods warehouse and lanes for forklift traffic.

·         Maintain parking lot and dock areas by collecting and transporting the trash to designated area.

·         Remove trash and debris from buildings, silo area, compressor area, drainage ditches and surrounding areas.

·         Empty trash bins; dispose of hazardous waste per plant protocols.

·         Replenish sanitation and cleaning supplies in production areas.

·         Assist with cleaning during and after production runs.

·         Operates and maintains blowers, industrial vacuums and other equipment used to care for grounds.

·         Performs heavy cleaning duties as required.

·         Report maintenance needs or safety hazards to management team.

·         Follow all safety protocols and wear PPE.

·         Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.

·         Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proven experience in custodial or janitorial work in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus.
• Experience operating a forklift
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, walk for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime if necessary.
