US Conec is seeking a Production Engineer to analyze, design, and improve production processes that enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity. This role partners closely with production, RD&E, and Quality teams to optimize workflows, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that support reliable, cost-effective operations.
Analyze and evaluate existing production processes to identify optimization opportunities.
Design, implement, and oversee improvements to production workflows and layouts.
Conduct time, motion, and methods studies to establish standard production rates.
Perform root-cause analysis for production issues and implement preventive solutions.
Collaborate with RD&E and Quality teams to troubleshoot problems and execute corrective actions.
Develop and maintain documentation including SOPs, process instructions, and quality standards.
Create detailed documentation for tooling, fixtures, setups, and operational procedures.
Test and validate machine and process capabilities for repeatable performance.
Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
2–4 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Working knowledge of industry and quality standards.
Experience with lean manufacturing methodologies (Kaizen, Six Sigma, etc.).
Hands-on experience with process validation and equipment qualification.
Familiarity with automation, tooling design, or fixture development.
