Production Engineer-Powertrain

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a similar technical field.
  
• Automotive or Aerospace manufacturing for assembly, machining, paint, welding and stamping experience
  
• Create and implement processes in a manufacturing environment experience
  
• Capital projects implementation experience
  
• Budget experience for manufacturing projects.
  
• Plan, implement, and mass production support for production lines greater than 9K capacity per month experience
  
• AutoCad experience, including the ability to read, interpret and modify 2D drawings.
  

• ​Prepare and coordinate Powertrain battery equipment to support new model launches.
  
• Developing process plans for machining or assembly of battery production lines within the Powertrain department with direct support from the Senior Engineer and/or Manager.
  
• Installation, pre-production trials, and launch of battery production lines.
  
• Creating and maintaining detailed schedules and budgets for assigned areas.
  
• Participate in cross-functional working groups across the local facility and corporate departments to achieve project goals.
  
• Participate in a mentor program to grow as an engineer and learn from others within the department.
