Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a similar technical field.
Automotive or Aerospace manufacturing for assembly, machining, paint, welding and stamping experience
Create and implement processes in a manufacturing environment experience
Capital projects implementation experience
Budget experience for manufacturing projects.
Plan, implement, and mass production support for production lines greater than 9K capacity per month experience
AutoCad experience, including the ability to read, interpret and modify 2D drawings.
Responsibilities
Prepare and coordinate Powertrain battery equipment to support new model launches.
Developing process plans for machining or assembly of battery production lines within the Powertrain department with direct support from the Senior Engineer and/or Manager.
Installation, pre-production trials, and launch of battery production lines.
Creating and maintaining detailed schedules and budgets for assigned areas.
Participate in cross-functional working groups across the local facility and corporate departments to achieve project goals.
Participate in a mentor program to grow as an engineer and learn from others within the department.
