Overview

LabelValue is seeking a qualified and experienced Production Finishing Operator and will be responsible for operating our digital label finishing and converting at our label manufacturing facility Tampa, Florida.

Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:15pm-1:45pm.

Pay: $16.00-$18.00/hour to start based on experience.

What you'll do:

• Set up and run a narrow web flexographic press.
• Mix ink to achieve the color combinations requested by customer.
• Mount and register Flexo printing plates, print cylinders, & dies.
• Die cut, slit, varnish, laminate, and apply foil to pre-printed material for custom label orders.
• Maintain production activity in Shop-floor MIS application.
• Inspect work product for quality/detail defects.
• Read and follow job orders to ensure the job is produced correctly.
• Troubleshoot and maintain press in accordance with team goals.
• Ability to train team members on use of press as well as workflow processes.

Desired Traits/Requirements:

• Experience running a ABG Digicon or Mark Andy Scout, 2200 and/or 830 machine preferred.
• Strong sense of mechanical aptitude and ability to make basic machine repairs.
• Be a team player and keep a safe and clean working production environment.
• May be required to lift up to 70lbs and stand for long periods of time.
• Computer experience using applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Be organized with a high attention to detail and good mathematical skills.
• Have a positive attitude with strong communications skills to work effectively with team members.
• Ability to work independently with a strong sense of motivation and work ethic.
• Bilingual is a plus.
