Job Summary 

Employees in this position will manufacture highly engineered products principally for the Aerospace, Defense, and Medical markets.

Primary Responsibilities 

• Work cooperatively with all employees.
• Willing to adapt work schedule to company needs.
• Attendance / Punctuality: Is consistently at work and on time.
• Demonstrate the ability to accurately and efficiently use applicable measuring tools such as, but not limited to Calipers, Micrometers and Height Gage.
• Demonstrate a basic ability to read and comprehend drawings and other applicable documentation.
• Perform the following assembly functions:
• Proficient usage of microscope.
• Ability to learn and use applicable area equipment.
• Must be able to install hardware of different variations.
• Must have the ability to work in harsh environments.

• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by area Senior I or Senior II.
• Observe safety regulations and follow protective equipment requirements. Report hazardous observations to Management personnel.
• Follow daily clean up and housekeeping procedures. Comply with all quality, safety, and work related rules and regulations.
• These responsibilities will be included in assigned areas:
• WASH
• The ability to identify contaminants
• The ability to remove and replace solvents as required.
• The ability to operate specific solvent pump equipment.
• The ability to perform beginning level procedures. 

• SOLDER
• General soldering techniques
• Proficient use of soldering irons and resistance solder tweezers.
• Knowledge of adjustable solder device.
• Solder dip and lead tinning.
• MASK/POTTING
• Proficient use of dispensing equipment.
• Daily oven temperature verification.
• Mixing and applying various materials.
• CAPACITOR FABRICATION
• Operate screen printing equipment and laminating press.
• Operation of high speed drill and CNC lathe.
• Hand application of termination material.
• GENERAL ASSEMBLY
• Part marking
• Knowledge of blasting equipment using various media.
• Heli-coil installation.
• Interfacial seal installation.
• Hand or mechanical lapping.
• Use of pin cutting equipment.
• Use of kilns and belt furnace for ceramic and glass sealing parts.
• Use of vacuum furnaces for brazing/heat treating.
• Resistance welding.
• SHIPPING AND RECEIVING
• Ability to use FED EX, UPS, or other company designated company shipping methods.
• Use of scale and label maker.
• Ability to properly package items.
• Use of MRP system.

Education/Previous Experience Requirements

• High School graduate.
• General Education Degree.
• In addition, all employees of PAE are expected to:
