Production Lab Tech - Optical Manufacturing

We're seeking a production lab tech to join the 1st shift at our manufacturing facility in Plano, TX.  Prior optical manufacturing or relevant experience is desired.

Base pay (DOE) PLUS bi-weekly bonus opportunities, a generous PTO plan and many other benefits.

1st Shift Hours:     Mondays-Fridays, 6:00am - 2:30pm

Our associates are responsible for performing a variety of duties, depending on their assigned department and lab needs.  Production Lab Techs help expedite job orders throughout the manufacturing process in a timely and efficient manner in order to serve our customers.

Tasks may include processing specific customer orders.  Other areas include Surface, Anti-Reflective, Finish and stockroom, involving observing data on job trays, RF scanning, order picking, ensuring movement of jobs throughout production process, machine operation, lens handling, cleaning and other assigned duties.

• No specific education required
• No specific experience may be required but prior optical production or other relevant experience is preferred
• Must be able to read and write English
