Production Lead

POSITION SUMMARY

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:         

Assist in scheduling production of all jobs. Assign production personnel as required. Assist in overseeing the production to ensure rates are maintained. Help ensure we have appropriate temporary workers to meet demand. Provide comments at the Production meeting regarding any issues.

OBJECTIVES:

Establish rates for each job and maintain. Provide insight into ways to increase production. Offer comments on any issues regarding production to sales. Maintain a minimum 90% on time production.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Read and understand Work Orders
• Ensure quality thorough entire production run
• Perform line meetings
• Completely understand all paperwork and fill out properly
• Properly turn on machine and/or open valves
• Know how to adjust weights on machine
• Set up date code
• Changing labels (Line specific)
• Printing Labels (Work order specific)
• Effectively communicate to management
