Production Lead - Start Immediately

MINIMUM 2-3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS A PRODUCTION LINE LEADER

Partners Personnel is seeking a Production Line Leader for a logistic company located in La Buena Park, CA

Responsibilities for Production Line Lead Position: The production lead will perform tasks involved in the manufacturing of filled/packaged products. The lead will coordinate the daily distribution of the production personnel to the filling / packaging lines to maintain quality and machine up time. This lead role is a hands-on role and will spend 100% of his/her time on the production floor assisting the team.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the set-up and line run time in a leadership role on the production line.
• Ensure components on the line match part numbers & quantities found on the pick list.
• Perform proper start up procedures.
• Direct and motivate line personnel to maximize productivity and quality.
• Verify that all line personnel understand the product that is being produced and are performing their assigned task properly.

· Directly participates in the training of production personnel.

• Ensure adherence to production targets.
• Inspection of packaging components, finished goods and/or other items including all required physical testing.
• Understand and exercise all company safety requirements and procedures.
• Ensure GMP’s and general housekeeping is being performed.
• Responsible for document control for sanitized line equipment, bulk, packaging components, finished product testing (i.e. weights, torque, measurements and visual
• Ensure that production targets are met within the specified time frame.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

· Must be able to effectively respond in an emergency such as earthquakes, fire, and accident.

• Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes.
• Perform regular and in-depth inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Overtime required, may work some weekends depending on business needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the management team.

• Ability to read, comprehend, and write instructions.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to operate hand tools effectively.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety protocols
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Problem-solving skills to address any issues that arise during production.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and motivate others.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs. using proper lifting techniques.
• Walking and standing for the duration of shift.
• Handle bottles, caps and other types of components for long periods of time.
• Must be able to wear the required Personal Protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time.

Work Experience/Education Required:

• Ability to read, comprehend, and write instructions.
• Good mathematical and statistical skills (calculator, rulers, other measuring devices, scales, and digital torque meters)
• Minimum 2 years production line lead and inspection experience is preferred.
