Production Manager

ETK EMS is expanding into the U.S., and they are looking for a dynamic Production Manager to take the lead at their new facility in Cumming, GA. This is a unique opportunity to be part of something new—helping shape operations, culture and performance from the start, while working closely with their international teams in Denmark and beyond.

About the Role
As Production Manager, you will be responsible for launching, managing and continuously improving daily operations at their U.S. production site. This includes everything from overseeing the set-up of the factory floor to ensuring compliance with ISO standards, delivering quality products and leading a small team.

You will work directly with the Chief Manufacturing Officer (CMO) in Denmark and collaborate with key stakeholders worldwide across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the U.S. factory setup


• Hire and onboard a new team to support production goals


• Oversee daily operations, ensuring timely, high-quality product delivery


• Act as site representative for customer interactions, audits and quality compliance


• Drive continuous improvement in safety, efficiency and productivity


• Implement systems to achieve and maintain industry-specific certifications


• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance


• Report key performance metrics to leadership

What You Bring

• 7–10 years’ experience managing a medium-sized manufacturing or EMS operations


• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or Electronics Engineering (Business degree is a plus)


• Deep knowledge of electronics production, both machine and box build, and quality systems


• Experience with APQP, PPAP, RCA/CAPA, and lean principles (DMAIC, VSM)


• Strong leadership, stakeholder, people management and customer interaction skills


• Fluent in business English


• Experienced working with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) and data-driven environments


• Flexible and proactive with strong problem-solving abilities

Location: Cumming, GA
Travel: Up to 10% (U.S., Denmark, Europe and Asia as needed)
