Select Juice, LLC manufactures cold-pressed fruit and vegetable juice and other natural beverages. In addition to distributing our ríjuice brand to regional retailers, we make high-quality products for private-label customers and co-manufacturing clients nationwide. As a small but growing company, the right candidate will significantly impact existing operations and have an opportunity for growth as the operation continues to scale.

Job Overview

The Production Manager position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing and logistics functions of the Select Juice facility in Lancaster, PA.

This position leads the manufacturing and logistics team, ensuring the satisfactory completion of all production schedules in addition to inventory management and order fulfillment objectives.

The candidate will supervise the production planning, raw material procurement, juice pressing and bottling, packaging, and order fulfillment functions.

Currently, there are five roles within the organization that are supervised by this position.

The position is fully responsible for compliance with Select Juice procedures at all times. Provide training functions for each report that result in consistent compliance with the procedures and regulatory requirements.

Weekly Activities

• Establish the production plan for the upcoming week(s) according to inventory and order demands.


• Communicate the plan to the team in an appropriate manner that results in satisfactory completion of all objectives.


• Schedule staff accordingly to meet production plans.


• Identify and implement changes to the process that result in improved performance within the operation and achievement of organizational improvement goals annually.


• Ensure timely completion of all documentation required for the operation.


• Provide leadership of the production team at all times.


• Assist with or operate equipment in the absence of key staff members as needed.


• Familiarize yourself with each operation or piece of equipment used in the production process, such that mechanical issues can be prevented or readily resolved, so that production objectives are met consistently.


• Ensure satisfactory material inventories are on hand at all times.


• With guidance from management staff, manage the material ordering process so that there are no interruptions in the production objectives.

Paid Time Off (PTO)

Eligible employees are entitled to accrue paid time off (PTO) to use for vacation time, sick time, or other personal reasons. All regular full-time employees are entitled to accrue PTO from their date of hire at the rate of 1.6 hours for every 40 hours worked for a maximum of 10 days per year.
