We strive to continuously improve every day.  The Production Manager is tasked with overseeing the production process in the anchor bolt division in Masury, OH. Responsibilities encompass planning and organizing production schedules, assessing project and resource requirements, setting quality standards, and estimating timescales and costs. The production scheduler and production supervisor report directly to the production manager. This role involves significant supervision and management of staff, including recruiting, training, supervising, and motivating a team of workers and production staff. Additionally, a Production Manager is responsible for selecting, ordering, and purchasing materials, managing inventory, and ensuring that materials are ordered and delivered on time. This position is based in our ABD Masury division.

What You’ll Do

As a Production Manager, you will:

·        Planning and Organizing Production Schedules:

Assessing project and resource requirements, setting quality standards, estimating timescales and costs.

·        Supervising and Managing Staff:

Recruiting, training, supervising, and motivating a team of workers and production staff.

·        Ensuring Equipment Maintenance and Efficiency:

Overseeing the maintenance and repair of production equipment for continuous operations.

·        Problem-solving and Troubleshooting:

Addressing issues during production, including technical faults or human resource problems.

·        Implementing and Overseeing Cost-Control Measures:

Ensuring production is cost-effective and within budget.

·        Report Generation and Documentation:

Preparing and maintaining production reports and personnel records.

·        Lean Manufacturing:

implement lean manufacturing strategies to eliminate waste and improve production efficiency.

·        Idea Generation:

be a self-starter. Look for out-of-the-box ways to improve and have the willingness and skill toimplement ideas.

·        Leadership:

lead by example.

What You’ll Bring

To be successful in this role, you should have:

-strong leadership background

- The ability to analyze and interpret technical information and mathematical concepts, form conclusions, and present complex information.

- The ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage projects to completion effectively.

- The ability to work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.

- Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills.

- A hands-on, curious approach with a continuous improvement mindset.

- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing.

- 3-5 years of prior experience in production management.

Salary: $60,000.00 to $65,000.00
