Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related field and/or 5 years of experience in mining or construction environment is preferred.
• Positive and proactive attitude with ability to address issues and implement solutions.
• Understanding of heavy equipment and mining operations.
• Detail and process oriented with strong problem resolution abilities. 
• Must be able to work in a team environment and willing and able to adapt to fast-paced changing environments.

Responsibilities:

• Assist and coach team(s) to ensure quality, production, and shipment requirements are being met
• Maintain a safe workplace and work culture in accordance with company policy(s) and MSHA standards
• Stay current with new equipment and technology in the industry
• Meet budgeted production targets
• Maintain environmental compliance per company policy, permits, and government regulations
• Manage data captured including but not limited to SAP inputs, timecard maintenance, EMS system, Blast reporting
• Manage employee productivity, job performance, and overall production efficiencies
• Implement training plans to provide employees with the necessary training to perform their job safely and effectively
• Ensure compliance with work instructions to define and control the production process
•  Participate in long term capital project planning
•  Manage capital projects within department
