We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Production Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our production operations, ensuring that our engineering products are manufactured to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, working closely with various departments to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to take on a leadership role within our organization

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Production Manager, your key duties will include:

1. Overseeing all aspects of the production process, ensuring that products are manufactured to the highest quality and safety standards.
2. Implementing and managing LEAN Manufacturing principles to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
3. Operating and maintaining CNC and Swiss Machines, ensuring their optimal performance and longevity.
4. Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of production staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
5. Collaborating with other departments to streamline operations, solve problems, and meet production goals.
6. Monitoring production output and analyzing relevant data to identify areas for improvement.
7. Ensuring compliance with all industry regulations and standards.
8. Implementing proactive maintenance and repair schedules for all production equipment.
9. Managing production budgets and controlling costs to ensure profitability.
10. Participating in product development and innovation, contributing to the continuous improvement of our product offerings.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:

1. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a production management role within the engineering industry.
2. Proven experience with CNC, LEAN Manufacturing, and Swiss Machine operation.
3. A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
4. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
6. A strong understanding of industry regulations and safety standards.
7. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to a variety of stakeholders.
9. Proficiency in relevant software, including CAD, CAM, and ERP systems.
10. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining high-quality standards.
