Job Description - Production Manager - Beverage

The Production Manager of Beverage Manufacturing ensures seamless beverage manufacturing operations with a focus on supply chain execution, inventory accuracy, and quality assurance. This role is critical in maintaining compliance, optimizing processes, and driving operational efficiency across Shamrock’s beverage portfolio. While not a people-leadership position, it requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to independently manage complex production workflows.


Essential Duties:



  • Oversee daily Beverage Manufacturing operations.

  • Manage the Beverage Manufacturing VMA (Vendor Managed Agreement) to ensure order accuracy and alignment with production needs.

  • Handle direct ordering of products with co-manufacturers and maintain strong vendor relationships.

  • Troubleshoot inventory variances and implement corrective actions to maintain accurate records of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.

  • Collaborate with Supply Planning and Category Management to resolve supply chain issues and ensure timely product availability.

  • Own FSQA and quality control processes related to coffee products produced by Beverage

  • Manufacturing, ensuring FSMA compliance.

  • Develop and maintain SOPs for all product-related operational processes. 

  • Drive continuous improvement in quality systems, documentation and audit readiness. 

  • Assist in maintaining and updating SOPs to document internal operations and FSMA compliance.

  • Optimize procurement and production processes to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and maximize resource utilization across beverage manufacturing.

  • Drive business automation initiatives.

  • Participate in cross-function projects to enhance systems and processes.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications: 



  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college 

  • 3-5 years’ experience in beverage or food manufacturing operations.

  • CPIM Certification preferred

  • Proficiency in ERP Systems and advanced Excel (pivot tables, data analysis)

  • Familiarity with FSQA programs and regulatory compliance (FSMA, HACCP)

  • PCQI certification preferred; Lean Six Sigma a plus 

  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills

  • Must be willing to work the demands of food manufacturing which are subject to evenings, weekends, and holidays.


Physical Demands: 



  • Regularly standing and walking

  • Ability to reach and handle objects, tools, or controls”

  • Sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling

  • Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds

  • Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds

  • Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds. 

  • Ability to observe surroundings, packages, and labels at both close and far distances


 


Salary of $80,000 to $90,000 with annual bonus potential depending on competency, experience, qualifications and skills.
