Position Title: Production Manager Flooring Installation

Position Overview:
We’re seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and personable Production Manager with a high sense of urgency to oversee project execution from sale to completion. This role is central to ensuring customer satisfaction, installer coordination, job site success, and operational excellence. You will be the key point of contact for our customers and internal team, taking ownership of job scheduling, communication, material ordering, and quality control.
This is a dynamic role that also includes supporting marketing initiatives, participating in vendor and home shows, and assisting with warehouse management to keep operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers, installers, and the sales team throughout the production process.
- Schedule, coordinate, and monitor job installations to ensure timely and high-quality completion.
- Conduct job site visits to confirm progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain proactive communication with customers, setting clear expectations and resolving issues quickly.
- Collaborate with sales staff in weekly meetings to align production plans with new sales.
- Meet daily with installers to confirm job details, schedules, and expectations.
- Accurately order, track, and manage all job materials, ensuring timely delivery and inventory control.
- Keep internal systems (Salesforce/Production Dashboard) updated with job statuses and notes.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining warehouse operations, including materials, tools, and job staging.
- Support local marketing efforts by participating in home shows, vendor expos, and community events.
- Help set up and represent the company at events, showcasing our brand in a professional and engaging way.
- Contribute to promotional planning and help brainstorm ideas to grow local visibility.
Who You Are:
- Experienced in flooring or a similar construction/home services industry (required).
- Proactive and resourceful, able to anticipate needs and act with urgency.
- Highly organized, with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Personable and professional, with a customer-first attitude.
- Driven to succeed, consistently delivering results and exceeding expectations.
- An excellent communicator, comfortable speaking with customers, installers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Tech-savvy; familiar with Salesforce and Excel or similar tools.
- Capable of working independently and making confident, effective decisions.
- Willing and able to support weekend events when needed.
- Must have reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided).

- Competitive base salary: $60,000 – $70,000, plus performance-based bonuses.
