McHale Landscape Design is searching for the next Production Manager (PM) for our Maintenance Division serving Maryland’s Eastern Shore at our Easton office. Since 1981, the firm has designed, constructed, and planted residential projects throughout D.C., Maryland and Virginia, including more than 300 award-winning landscapes.

What a Production Manager does:

The Easton Production Manager will perform the following tasks among others:

• Morning dispatch of crews and setting up crews on job sites as needed. 
• Ensure worksheets are correct and with proper notes
• Communicate with crews the daily tasks and notes from the worksheet or schedule
• Show foremen and crews proper tools, material and equipment needed for job
• Assist foremen and crews as needed to confirm all notes, tasks, requests, and to-do items are completed.
• Communicate with crews and Account Managers about job completion status daily. 
• Assist Account Managers with securing proper material and equipment for scheduled upcoming projects and as needed.
• Assist foremen and crews as needed.
• Procure and maintain or manage inventory items.
• Schedule tool inventory checks and manage tool inventory and approved tool purchases
• Assist in enforcing safety and uniform policies and standards
• Assist Account Managers with HR tasks for field laborers; including hiring and onboarding, terminations, PTO requests, reviews, driving tests, and updating employee paperwork.

You will be a great fit if you have:

• Professional and proficient communication skills, bi-lingual in Spanish and English a plus
• Proven ability to successfully work in a fast-paced environment
• Superior time management and organizational skills
• 3-or more years of landscape maintenance Production Manager experience
• A degree related to the landscape industry is a plus
• Able to work occasional Saturdays if needed
