Job Description:
The Production Material Handler is responsible for safely and efficiently moving, tracking, picking, and restocking materials for the production lines using a forklift and other material handling equipment. This role supports production operations by ensuring accurate physical and system inventory movement, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and meeting productivity goals and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Move, stack, and organize materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Verify materials against production documents and ERP System for accuracy and deficiencies.
  • Pick, stage, and prepare production line for assembly.
  • Perform equipment inspections and report maintenance issues as required.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records via warehouse ERP systems and documentation.
  • Follow all safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
  • May be required to assist with assembly line as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior production or material handling experience preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with ERP Systems.
  • Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices.
  • Strong math and reading skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong ad hoc problem-solver.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to [50–75] pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment for moderate durations.

Work Environment:
  • Production Warehouse setting with minor exposure to varying temperatures.
  • Moderate to loud noise levels.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
