Production Operative -Night Shift - Spot Weld

Red Dot Corporation, the leading producer of premium mobile HVAC units and components for heavy-duty commercial and military vehicles, is recruiting for the following position:

Production Operative 

Reports to: Area Team Lead 

Department: Housing Cell

FLSA Status: Regular, Non Exempt

Shift: Nights

Location: Puyallup

Compensation: $21.50hr + $1.00 night shift differential

JOB SUMMARY: Under the general supervision and direction of the Area Team Leader, have the ability to work in Spot Weld/Housing cell areas.

Essential Functions:

• Completes tasks associated with Assembly or Fabrication job descriptions as assigned.
• Exercise care of all tools, machines and equipment through proper use and storage.
• Maintains clean work area including daily sweeping of floors, racking of tools, dies, guides and related equipment. 5S responsibilities.
• With training and guidance, have the ability to build product to the specified rate.
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work at a fast paced environment with changing priorities.
• Good attendance
• Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing or welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and basic drawings.
• Must be able to read and understand English.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30-50 lbs.
• Follow safety procedures and use required PPE.
