Production Operator

Position Summary

The Production Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining equipment across multiple production areas including JC Steele, Wet Area, Process Area, and Bagger/Coater. This role ensures efficient production, equipment cleanliness, preventive maintenance, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

The position requires the following:

1. The ability to stand for long periods of time
2. The ability to lift 50lbs. or more throughout the shift
3. The ability to carry 50lbs or more for packing and stacking bags for shipment
4. The ability to work in confined spaces with present dust components

Description:

1.Wash machines throughout the duration of the shift to maintain optimal performance
2.The ability to mix chemicals to exact specifications for product
3.Clean machines, filters and exchangers as needed
4. Bag per current guidelines and bin level
5. Move bags for shipping
6. Fill bagging supplies and clean bagger area at the end of each shift
7. Blow off weight belts
8. Clean coater screens every 2 hours
9. Ensure proper pumping of water through machines
10. Clean floor areas around machine
11. Empty hoppers


Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.

• Ability to operate industrial equipment safely.

• Strong attention to detail and housekeeping standards.

• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting, standing, bending).

• Willingness to work rotating shifts as required.
