Production Operator 2nd shift

  Second shift Operators must train on 1st shift (5 AM – 3 PM) for a few months before transitioning to the permanent schedule of 2 PM – 12 AM, Monday through Thursday.

Production operators are responsible for the daily tasks associated with manufacturing needs. This role requires learning quickly and working independently with minimal supervision once fully trained.

Responsibilities 

· Uphold and enforce safety policies and procedures following company guidelines.

· Load/ unload materials from hoppers, bins, dryers and other processing equipment.

· Assist the Production Supervisor and Plant Manager with monitoring production/ router schedules. 

· Assure compliance with all QA & QC policies.

· Follow all EHS procedures & report equipment failures to supervision.

· Maintain cleanliness of machinery to minimize metal dust.

  Required Qualifications: 

· Mechanically inclined.

· Able to read, write, speak, and understand spoken English.

· Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, twisting, bending, lifting, grasping, reaching, foot controls, depth perception, and the ability to safely lift 50 lb.

Preferred Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Preference shown to applicants with supervisory experience.

· Familiarity with computers is a plus, particularly Datacor ERP software.

· Forklift experience.

· Bandsaw experience.
