About the Role
As a Production Operator, You will support key areas throughout the manufacturing floor including
Machining, Finishing, Quality, Maintenance, and Shipping. If you are a motivated individual with a desire to become a CNC machinist and you embody our core values of Great People, Going Beyond, and Growing, this is your opportunity.
What You’ll Do
Operate machines or equipment in a variety of departments; CNC machines, CMM machines, manual pneumatic and electric hand tools
Complete secondary operations: assembly, deburring, polishing, washing, tumbling and other finishing tasks as required for the specific process
Read and interpret blueprints
Use visual inspection equipment as needed
Perform in process inspection of machined products looking for imperfections, burrs etc.
Complete paperwork and data entry for parts
Accurately count parts
Requirements
Education and Experience:
Minimum Requirements - High School diploma or equivalent
Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred
Skills and Competencies:
Ability to recommend changes for improvement
Strong mechanical aptitude
Excellent attention to detail
Ability learn and comprehend blueprint reading
Handle multiple tasks and take direction from several sources
Strong sense of urgency
Strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Able to work both independently and as a team
Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition
Proficient in various computer software applications such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
