About the Role

As a Production Operator, You will support key areas throughout the manufacturing floor including 

Machining, Finishing, Quality, Maintenance, and Shipping. If you are a motivated individual with a desire to become a CNC machinist and you embody our core values of Great People, Going Beyond, and Growing, this is your opportunity.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate machines or equipment in a variety of departments; CNC machines, CMM machines, manual pneumatic and electric hand tools
  • Complete secondary operations: assembly, deburring, polishing, washing, tumbling and other finishing tasks as required for the specific process
  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Use visual inspection equipment as needed
  • Perform in process inspection of machined products looking for imperfections, burrs etc.
  • Complete paperwork and data entry for parts
  • Accurately count parts

Requirements

 Education and Experience:

  • Minimum Requirements - High School diploma or equivalent 
  • Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred 

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to recommend changes for improvement 
  • Strong mechanical aptitude 
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability learn and comprehend blueprint reading 
  • Handle multiple tasks and take direction from several sources 
  • Strong sense of urgency 
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision 
  • Able to work both independently and as a team 
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition 
  • Proficient in various computer software applications such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
