LOCATION: ERIE, PA
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The overall responsibility of this position is to analyze customer demand and create work orders on a daily basis according to the facility capacity while maintaining on time delivery and balancing the line to meet customer due dates.
Determine and set daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing schedules for the company’s manufacturing obligations. This role requires superior organization and planning skills as this individual will examine customer orders, available staff and inventory capacity to effectively set and manage production schedules, often for multiple lines at once.
In addition, this individual must be collaborative professional that can lead and monitor manufacturing performance and actively adjust schedules in response to equipment failures or supply shortages. Coordinating and organizing production plans in an efficient manner to reduce inventory in process and downtime on the shop floor.
