Production Quality Lead – 1st Shift

Full job description

Duties /Responsibilities

Be familiar with the Standard Operating Procedures for production operations

Identify cosmetic and production issues on products before sending to shipping and receiving

Inspect, Weigh, and count assigned products checking against Standards and production count sheet

Complete physical counts monitoring order completion

Be familiar with the schedule to ensure that the correct product(s) are running

Complete required documentation and correctly label parts

Assist and train personnel in procedures and processes

Coach and work with HR on write ups

Reduce rework by ensuring products meet standards before leaving the plant

Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age

Detailed oriented

Manufacturing experience preferred

Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Flexibility based on plant production schedules
