We are looking for a Production Quality Technician who will work within the production department performing routine

quality control activities, defect analysis, continual improvements, containment, and countermeasures. The Production Quality Technician will need to be well versed in all technical aspects of the products they support, including the ability to build, test, and repair/rework the entire product. This technical expertise will be required to perform defect analysis of nonconforming materials and returned products that have failed in the field. This role will report to the Production Quality Leader. This role has the authority to halt production if they confirm there is a quality risk.

Pay Range: $24 - $30 / hour, based on qualifications and experience

Production Quality Technician Job Responsibilities: 

• Perform, oversee, or record daily production quality checklists
• In-process and final inspections as required
• Participate in daily production meetings
• Analyze quality deviations and risks
• Propose improvement actions and lead/participate in problem resolution (QRQC)
• RMA evaluations, teardowns, and root cause investigation support
• Traceability research, defect reproduction, and review of control methods
• Participate in continual improvement initiatives
• Participate in internal auditing activities
• Data tracking for quality analysis and improvement
• Daily processing and reporting of non-conforming materials
• Containment and countermeasure activities for non-conforming materials
• Production process audits
• Routine test stand validations
• End of line inspections or dock audits
• Sampling plan verifications
• Support testing and paperwork related to first article submissions

Production Quality Technician Qualifications:

• MUST SUBMIT RESUME TO BE CONSIDERED 
• High School Diploma (required)
• Experience assembling, testing, and rebuilding scroll compressors (required)
• High degree of attention to detail
• Organized
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel for report writing and data logging
• Strong interpersonal skills to tactfully communicate issues.

Location:  Thornton, CO

Pay Range: $24 - $30 / hour, based on qualifications and experience
