We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Production Scheduler to optimize our production processes and ensure efficient resource allocation.
Specific Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and customer requirements
Analyze production capacity and resource availability to optimize scheduling and ensure on-time delivery
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to align production plans with business objectives
Utilize advanced planning software and tools to monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary
Conduct regular reviews of production performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
Develop packaging for inbound and outbound products to support our clients
DESCRIPTION OF QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials management, and inventory control.
Proficiency in using production planning software and ERP systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in production planning software (i.e., Infor Cloud AS, SAP, Oracle, JDE).
Medium Excel skills, including experience with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
Preferred Education and Experience:
5+ years of experience in production scheduling or planning within a manufacturing environment. Certifications such as PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) or Certified Scheduling Technician (CST) can enhance job prospects. Associates degree or a degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
