Production Scheduler

TSC is seeking a Production Scheduler in Huntsville, AL 

Key Responsibilities
• Create, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels, and capacity constraints
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure schedules are achievable and aligned with operational goals
• Monitor work-in-progress, identify bottlenecks, and recommend adjustments as needed
• Communicate schedule changes to all relevant departments in a timely and clear manner
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure material availability and resolve shortages
• Track performance metrics such as on-time delivery, throughput, and schedule adherence
• Assist with planning improvements, process optimization, and production forecasting
• Maintain accurate system data, including manufacturing orders, lead times, and capacity planning.

Qualifications
• Previous experience in production scheduling, manufacturing planning, or related operations roles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and scheduling tools. (Costpoint and Aegis Factory Logix are a plus.)
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Preferred (Not Required)
• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial environments
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, Project, or data analysis tools
