Production Scheduler - Rewarding Work

What you’ll do:
As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight of construction projects including roofing, siding, gutter and window installations from beginning to end including ensuring our projects, field supervisors and subcontractors adhere to strict quality standards, job specifications and safety regulations. You will plan, organize and direct the daily operations of purchasing, installations, warehouse operations, crew scheduling, coordination with homeowners and oversight of related personnel. You will be responsible for completing each job on time, on budget and on target with company quality and safety procedures.
In additional you’ll also:
 Verify accuracy of job details/project estimates and complete material orders
 Create job schedule for installations and field team – Communicate lead times to homeowners
 Lead team of field supervisors through completion of 3-6 concurrent projects – Ensure site visits to monitor job progress, quality and safety are performed daily
 Ensure field team communicates work orders, production pictures and job specifications to subcontractors
 Ensure routine change orders are estimated, documented and signed by the customer and the subcontractor – If more substantial work than is typically handled by the sub-contractor coordinate with the sales department on pricing and selling of change orders
 Review and educate field team and subcontractors on new products as they become available
 Review and approve payments to subcontractors
 Continually assess systems and processes, identify opportunities for improvement and recommend and implement changes
 Take the initiative to perform tasks which would assist fellow team members in successfully completing their job duties – We are a team!

Who you are:
 You have 3+ years of production management in residential construction/exterior home renovation
 You have 1+ years of team leadership/people management experience
 You must have a basic knowledge of residential construction and production of trades including roofing, siding, gutters and windows
 You are an independent self-starter with a strong sense of project ownership and entrepreneurial drive
 You are detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
 You have the ability to manage multiple projects in a schedule driven environment, while being flexible to changing circumstances
 You understand basic computer skills
 You have the ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work in various weather conditions
 You must be able to pass a background check and MVR (clean driving record)

Extra credit:
 You have 5+ years of production management in construction/exterior home renovation
 You have a professional degree, preferably in Construction Management or equivalent
 You are bilingual; English/Spanish speaker
