Role Description and Expectations 


The Production Specialist-Compliance plays a key role in supporting the operational success of the branch by managing permitting, inspections, and regulatory compliance processes from project initiation through completion. This position ensures all work adheres to state, local, and company standards, including oversite of the Rhode Island RRP (Lead Renovation, Repair, and Paining) Program.  In addition to maintaining compliance records and coordinating municipal approvals, the role supports warranty and service operations.  The Production Specialist also manages Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and assists with insurance-related documentation.This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities while ensuring a high level of accuracy, compliance, and professionalism across all operational activities.


Qualifications  


Township Compliance - Permitting & Inspections



  • Manage building permits and coordinate with municipalities.

  • Track permit and approval statuses through project completion.

  • Schedule and manage final inspections for all project types.

  • Ensure all work aligns with state, local, and company compliance standards. 


RRP Lead Safety Compliance & Program Oversight



  • Oversee and manage the Rhode Island RRP (Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting) Program to ensure full compliance with state and federal EPA regulations (40 CFR Part 745).

  • Maintain company RRP certification, ensuring renewal and re-accreditation as required.

  • Coordinate employee RRP training, certification renewals, and documentation for all covered workers.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) on all matters related to RRP compliance, reporting, and inspections.

  • Conduct internal audits of project files and worksite practices to verify RRP documentation, including pre-renovation forms, and checklists.


Insurance & Risk Coordination



  • Request and manage Certificates of Insurance (COIs) as needed for subcontractors, vendors, and project-specific requirements, ensuring all documentation meets corporate and homeowner standards.

  • Serve as a liaison between the local branch and the corporate insurance team for all insurance-related matters.

  • Coordinate submission of all required materials for insurance cases as needed, such as incident reports, damage assessments, photographs, etc.


Workmanship Warranty & Service Coordination



  • Process warranty service requests and coordinate technician scheduling.

  • Communicate with homeowners regarding warranty status, obtaining supporting documents, appointments, and follow-up.

  • Maintain warranty records and track completion timelines.


Communication & Collaboration



  • Act as a liaison between field teams, homeowners, and municipal offices.

  • Provide regular updates to the production and operations teams on permitting, inspection, and service progress.

  • Support continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks or process opportunities.


 Scheduling & Project Support



  • Crosstrain with scheduling and project management teams to provide coverage as needed.

  • Support project tracking, documentation, and workflow updates.

  • Assist in maintaining accurate data in CRM system
