Job Description - Production Supervisor

Requirements:  



  • Experience: 4-6 years’ experience in production or in food/beverage manufacturing

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as D365 (preferred)

  • Available to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends & holidays

  • Bilingual – English/Spanish (Preferred).


Job Description: 


The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on the production lines, including but not limited to reviewing pending orders for the day, organizing employee assignments, coordination of finished products, maintaining workplace safety, and scheduling employees in accordance with business needs and management approval. Creation and distribution of the Production Schedule among multiple production lines, by organizing the order of the run per variety priorities and delivery deadlines.


Essential Duties:



  • Manages and leads a team by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, appraising job results, conducting safety trainings, completing injury reports and enforcing work accommodations, worksite walk-throughs, team meetings, enforcing company policies, coordinating breaks, and onboarding of new hires.

  • Perform daily checks on personnel for shortages and replacements, also monitor workload for the day and control labor under designated budget guidelines.

  • Monitor all production orders daily through our ERP system.

  • Communicate with end users and necessary team to ensure production orders are processed properly and efficiently.

  • Report and document any system/user issue.

  • Train and/or ensure team is performing systematic transactions to match the physical transactions correctly.

  • Physical and systematic counts of inventory in all assigned sections of the production area, communicating with ERP Clerks and issuing inventory requisitions as needed.

  • Maintains physical condition of production line by inspecting equipment, creating work orders to replenish necessary supplies, ensure the beautification of the facility, and requisitions for the repair and replacement of equipment.

  • Complies with federal, state, and local production, material handling, and packaging requirements through regular communication with Risk and Safety team; enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and OSHA compliance.

  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

  • Attention to detail, emphasizing precision, time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to independently set department priorities, workload, assignments, and meet multiple deadlines

  • Takes initiative to seek opportunities for improvement of sequences, process and workstreams

  • Ability to collaborate and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, inventory logs, and quality control documentation.

  • Generate regular reports on production performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs)

Job Details: 



  • Work Hours: Monday thru Friday, Business Hours, Overtime as needed.

  • Work Attire: Use good judgment, keeping in mind the nature of their work, their own safety and the safety of others, and their need to interact with the public.  

  • Pay Range: $70,300 - $72,000/yearly

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
