Job Overview

We are seeking a hands -on, detail -oriented Production Supervisor to lead our production team and ensure the seamless delivery of exceptional printing products. The Production Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the printing floor, ensuring that all production processes run efficiently, meet deadlines, and adhere to the highest quality standards. This individual will be pivotal in optimizing workflow, managing resources, and leading a skilled team of operators and technicians in a fast -paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule, and coordinate printing jobs to meet client deadlines and quality expectations.
Monitor the production workflow to identify and resolve bottlenecks or delays promptly.
Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of printing machinery, including offset, digital, and finishing equipment.
Supervise, train, and motivate a team of machine operators and production staff to achieve operational excellence.
Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement within the production team.
Conduct performance reviews, identify skill gaps, and implement tailored training programs.
Implement rigorous quality checks at every stage of production, from pre -press to post -production.
Troubleshoot printing defects or equipment issues to ensure flawless output.
Collaborate with the design and pre -press teams to address technical challenges and achieve client specifications.
Manage inventory of raw materials, inks, and substrates to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Optimize machine usage and reduce waste through strategic planning and innovative solutions.
Track production metrics and generate reports to measure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to budgets
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies regarding workplace safety, environmental standards, and operational procedures.
Conduct regular safety audits and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements

Key Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Printing Technology, Graphic Arts, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications in printing technologies, color management, or production management are advantageous.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in the printing industry, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
Hands -on experience with printing equipment, such as offset, digital, flexographic, or large -format printers
Familiarity with pre -press, press, and post -press operations.
Proficiency in using color calibration tools and software like Adobe Creative Suite or RIP software.
Knowledge of safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality certifications related to the printing industry.

Proven ability to lead, train, and manage a team of machine operators and production staff.
Strong interpersonal skills to handle team dynamics and resolve conflicts effectively.
Skill in optimizing workflows for productivity and quality assurance.
Keen attention to detail to maintain high -quality output standards.
Familiarity with quality control procedures, including color consistency and print alignment.
Expertise in creating and managing production schedules to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and propose actionable improvements.
Familiarity with production management software and tools for workflow tracking.
Competency in ERP systems for inventory and resource management
