Overview

Our client is a color concentrate and masterbatch manufacturer seeking to add Production Supervisor for one of their manufacturing facilities. The company is growing rapidly and is looking for a Supervisor that can oversee production in this growth environment. This is a great opportunity to join the company and advance within as they grow.

Job Duties

Supervise all facets of your shift, including staffing levels, meeting production schedules, maintaining safety and managing HR issues.

Mentor and train your production staff on the company’s world class standards of quality and safety. Including ISO and OSHA requirements.

Monitor the performance of your production staff, providing appropriate feedback of performance and conducting annual performance reviews.

Assist the Production Manager with reports, schedules and budgets.

Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives.

Ensure equipment is well maintained and working properly.

Maintain a safe work environment for your staff.

Job Requirements

3 years of manufacturing experience in plastics (preferred) or other industrial manufacturing settings such as compounding or consumer products.

Strong supervision, management and leadership skills.

The ability to communicate objectives and goals clearly to you team.

Continuous improvement experience, such as Kaizen, 5-S and lean manufacturing.

Proficient with Microsoft Suite.
