Job Description - Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift
The Production Supervisor is responsible for creating a setting an environment in which employees become involved, responsible, and self-motivated. This role will be responsible for; Continuous Improvement activities, Execution of Processes that provide Quality Products, administration of organization policies and support activities for all plant objectives, and follow-up on training plans for team members. Make sure that the organization's decision-making is based on a process-oriented culture - to ensure the linkage from strategy to actions. In this function, you will: Operational Efficiency Utilize the Tier Meeting process to track and assess key operational metrics and implement actions and methods to improve operational performance. Direct day-to-day activities in production areas, including manpower movement, job assignments, time/attendance/vacation data, and pull the workload to meet all customer needs in the most effective manner. Lead and/or champion EBS Pull (needle mover), or main business projects assigned to her/him to meet business objectives and goals. Support the deployment of the different EBS functional initiatives important for the business, CIF (Continuous Improvement Framework), EQMS (Quality), ELSS (LEAN), and others. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Manufacturing or Operations Minimum of 3 years of experience managing/supervising teams No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that current reside within 50 miles of El Paso, TX facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
