Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Direct Hire - Macomb County
$31 to $34 per hour on Experience
Injection Molding experience required.

Responsibilities:

v Supervises, coordinates, and reviews the work of all assigned staff.
v Evaluates and makes recommendations regarding methods and procedures in assigned area.
v Acts as a liaison with other departments.
v Prepares written reports concerning assigned aspect of work.
v Manages day-to-day departmental operation, assigns people to the appropriate jobs, coordinates labor with production schedule and controls cost.
v Performs any assignments given by Operations Manager
v Must be capable of making sound decisions and set job priorities.
v Set machine and maintenance repair priorities.
v Assure good housekeeping practices are being followed.
v Assure production requirements are met, including logging information as required.
v Perform daily audits

Requirements:

v Strong professional and interpersonal skills.
v Ability to interact with co-workers, customers, vendors and visitors in a respectful and professional manner.
v Proven ability to work independently as well as multi-task.
v Strong organization skills.
v Proficient computer skills and abilities with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
v Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
v High school diploma or equivalent experience
v Familiarity with computerized office systems and PC software
