Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring that products are produced in a timely and cost-effective manner. They are in charge of creating and implementing production schedules, ensuring that safety regulations are followed, and monitoring the quality of the products.
Position Overview:

Provide leadership, direction, and coordination for the production line.
Monitor the production process and make sure that production goals are met, while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Make sure that production is running smoothly and efficiently, with minimal downtime.
Identify areas of improvement in production processes and implement solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule, and oversee production operations.
Ensure that production meets customer requirements and the established quality standards.
Assign tasks to production team and monitor their progress.
Provide training and guidance to production personnel.
Evaluate performance, provide feedback, and recommend disciplinary action when necessary.
Develop and implement continuous improvement projects.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Communicate with management and other departments to ensure coordinated efforts.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in production management.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
Knowledge of Manufacturing Management, Sheet Metal, extruded aluminum sectors, and Assembly Operations.
Ability to meet production deadlines, and maintain On-time delivery and Lead Time.
Strong problem solving and communication skills.
Ability to reduce scrap rate and waste elimination.
