Production Supervisor - Brick Mfg. - Up to 35$/h

Rotating Shift:

Nights 6PM to 6AM (Monday evening to Saturday morning)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on, safety-focused Production Supervisor to lead and oversee our brick and landscaping products manufacturing team. This position is responsible for supervising a team of 7 production employees, ensuring safety compliance, meeting daily production goals, and maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced, automated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety Leadership:
  
  


• Champion a culture of safety by enforcing safety policies and procedures, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and company standards.
  
  


• Production Oversight:
  
  


• Supervise daily operations to meet production targets, maintain product quality, and minimize downtime.
  
  


• Team Leadership:
  
  


• Provide daily direction, support, and motivation to a team of 7 production employees. Conduct performance reviews, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  
  


• Equipment & Automation:
  
  


• Oversee operations of newly installed German-made automated production equipment. Ensure machines are operated efficiently and safely.
  
  


• Troubleshooting & Maintenance:
  
  


• Use mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve basic equipment issues, escalating as needed to maintenance or technical support.
  
  


• Communication:
  
  


• Maintain clear communication with management, maintenance, and other departments. Lead shift meetings and report on production progress, issues, and achievements.
  
  


• Administrative Tasks:
  
  


• Use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for shift reporting, tracking KPIs, and maintaining production and safety records.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment; experience with building materials or landscaping products preferred.
  
  


• Strong mechanical aptitude; experience with automated machinery a plus.
  
  


• Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
  
  


• Proven ability to meet production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards.
  
  


• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  
  


• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  
  


• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or shifts as needed.
  
  

Working Conditions:

• Manufacturing environment with moderate to loud noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
  
  


• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
  
  

Salary $30 to $35/hours

OT after 40 hours per week
