Position Overview

As the Production Supervisor, you will train on all aspects of successfully running the day-to-day operations of a production team in preparation of one day growing into a Production Manager. You’ll be involved with maintaining production schedules, planning and assigning work, training and coaching employees, and maintaining product quality standards under the guidance of the Production Manager.

The Regular Work Schedule is Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. The ability to work overtime is required.

Pay Starts at $24.00 per hour (Base pay $22.00 per hour + shift differential $2.00 per hour).

Responsibilities

• Maintain production schedules, plan and assign work, train employees, and maintain product quality standards.
• Assist with team member monthly coaching sessions and annual Performance Evaluations.
• Recognize and solve problems affecting production.
• Inspect Remake orders to identify process and training deficiencies.
• Assist the production team in the absence of team members.
• Assist the Production Manager in the improvement of current production processes.
• Assist the Production Manager in the development of processes for new products.
• Assist with monitoring and completing time & attendance reports.
• Follow all established Standard Work procedures established by the Company.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation/work area.
• Comply with all Company policies, rules, and instructions from supervisors or management.
• Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing to comply with all safety laws and all of H&H Color Lab’s safety policies and rules. Must be willing to report safety violations and potential safety violations to appropriate management.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Must maintain acceptable attendance and able to work overtime as necessary.
• Must have a flexible schedule and ability to work any shift on a temporary basis with advanced notice.

Requirements

• Must have the ability to read, comprehend, and interpret instructions in English at a level normally acquired through a high school education.
• Minimum of 1 year of production supervisory experience.
• Able to work independently without close supervision.
• Must be flexible/adaptable to constant change.
• Possess strong leadership, communication skills and diplomacy to interact with all levels of personnel.
• Able to prioritize, organize, and plan work under own initiative.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level.
• Must have the ability to perform certain tasks on a repetitive basis including, but not limited to, carrying, standing, kneeling, squatting, pushing, walking, sitting, reaching, and pulling.
• Able to be stand and/or walk for the entire work shift.
• Must have the ability to withstand moderate exposure to fumes, chemicals, and noise from machines and equipment.
• Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of him/herself or others.
