Production Support Manager

Continental Finance Company specializes in credit card options for those consumers with less than perfect credit. We are seeking a Production Support Manager to support our Information Technology team.

CFC offers a hybrid work schedule which includes three (3) core days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and two (2) remote workdays (Monday and Friday)

Essential Functions: 

• Manage a team of Production Support specialists, ensuring that production issues are resolved in a timely manner and followed through to completion.


• Triage and escalate production incidents in a timely manner according to standard operating procedures.


• Work with on-prem and offshore teams to ensure support is available 24 hours a day.


• Work with development teams as needed to escalate production issues that require development support.


• Manage regular health checks of applications and processes, working closely with end users, development staff and Infrastructure teams, to prioritize and resolve and/or mitigate outages.


• Monitor production systems to ensure timely reporting, tracking, follow-up and communication of problems to internal and external clients, technical resources, and executives.


• Identify ways to improve and enhance the company's ability to support the production environment - work across teams to champion the implementation of these improvements.


• Ensure the handoff of new applications from the development teams is complete and documented sufficiently so the system can be well supported.

The ideal candidate will have the following: 

• Experience managing a hybrid team of production support specialists, with team members situated both on-site and offshore.


• Ability to troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes and implement solutions quickly and efficiently.


• Software development experience with Microsoft technologies, including C# and SQL Server.


• Experience with AWS cloud technologies a plus.
