Production Team Member - 2nd Shift

About Us:
A-1 Staffing is recruiting on behalf of a valued client in the manufacturing industry, located in Council Bluffs. Our client is committed to quality, innovation, and excellence, and we are seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Production Team Member. This is a 2nd shift temp-to-hire position.

Position Overview:
As a Production Team Member, you will play a key role in supporting our client’s manufacturing operations. This role involves handling, packaging, and ensuring the quality of finished products in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Extrusion Line: Assist with start-up and shut-down processes and support the Extrusion Operator to maintain smooth production flow.


• Quality Control: Conduct regular product inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.


• Fabrication & Preparation: Bundle, tape, stack, and prepare products for palletization and shipment.
  


• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the production area organized and free of debris.


• Product Recycling: Grind rejected materials for reuse.


• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred; on-the-job training provided.
  


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.


• Must be 18 years or older.
  


• Work overtime as needed.


• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.


• Fluent in English.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and use hands/arms frequently during shifts.


• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.


• Comfortable working in environments with loud noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures.
