Summary/Objective 

The Production Technician will safely control various composite detailed parts and equipment in production using various types of measuring devices, adhesives, epoxies, and hardware of cured composite parts. 

Essential Functions? 

· Fulfilling tasks assigned by a team leader and or Production Manager

· Knowledge of pneumatic and electric power tools, as well as assembly and holding fixtures

· Ability to notify management of incorrect procedures in work orders

· Ability to follow work instructions & follow quality standards; to meet production schedules

· Produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances

· Learning technical skills related to industry

· 6S work area/stations.? 

· Complies with applicable safety standards and regulations. 

· Follow facility PPE requirements for all tasks 

· Ability to work effectively and productively in a team environment

· Ability and willingness to cross train on various production positions/departments

· Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Required Education and Experience? 

· High school diploma required. 

Competencies 

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to read blueprints and plans. 

· Good mechanical skills. 

· Solves problems in a collaborative and clear manner

· Keen attention to detail

Supervisory Responsibility? 

This position has no direct supervisory responsibility.? However, must be able to influence others in order to successfully perform the role.?? 

Work Environment & Physical Demands 

This job operates in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. This role routinely uses and/or is exposed to equipment used in the composites manufacturing process, cutting devices, hand tools, computers, handheld scanners, etc. Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for up to 10 hours per day. Must be able to repetitively lift to 50 lbs.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work? 

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday during day shift hours. Evening and weekend overtime work may be required as job duties demand.?? 

Travel? 

Limited travel up to 10% may be required for various training activities.
