As a Production Technician, you’ll play a hands-on role in bringing our unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and support systems to life, helping transform the way goods move around the world.

You will:

  • Assemble UAVs and related ground support equipment to aerospace-grade quality standards.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and improve electromechanical systems.
  • Perform through-hole and SMT soldering (IPC-A-610 familiarity is a plus).
  • Build wire harnesses, perform terminal crimping, and route cables cleanly and securely.
  • Use precision tools and measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Use software tools to test, track, and share production data with teammates.
  • 3+ years of experience building aerospace-grade or similar high-precision products.
  • Strong ability to follow complex instructions, schematics, and SOPs.
  • Experience working with sensitive electronics—such as circuit boards, cameras, and flex cables.
  • Familiarity with fabrication in plastics, composites, and metals.
  • A track record of meeting deadlines while maintaining exceptional workmanship.
  • Skills in troubleshooting and reworking complex mechanical/electrical assemblies.
Comfort executing tests using specialized fixtures and equipment.

Great additions:

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate
  • Experience with UAV-specific assembly and maintenance
  • Machine shop tooling experience
  • Knowledge of Lithium-Ion battery technology
  • Familiarity with autopilots, companion computers, and dynamic electromechanical systems
  • Jira and Confluence experience
  • $25-$40 per hour plus equity. This is a general range based on data from the SF bay area. Final compensation is based on level, experience and location
  • Free health plan and One Medical Subscription
  • Dental, vision, life and disability insurance and flexible spending accounts
  • Paid time off
  • 401(k)
